Congress: Limbaugh Shouldn't Own the Rams

Why is this even mentioned in Congress?

He is a windbag and is in love with himself- but is an ardent super fan of the NFL. He would have made a great minor owner

But isn't there a bigger issue of members of Congress running down a private citizen no matter how big a windbag he is.

The reason she gave for opposing him, was because he called out a QB from Penn, for being incompetent yet he's still playing.

Wow, there are sure a lot of sports talk hosts across the country that also don't qualify to be an owner in the NFL. (I include myself in that catagory as well).

She's a democrat and he's a "republican mouth piece". If you read the rule book you'll see that she was with in the rules. I joke, I kid....not meant to be taken seriously.

Oh I agree, but Rush, Beck and Hannity are such pesky conservative commentators to the libs that it makes it easy for many of them to dump on them from the floor of congress.

To be fair he's more than just a private citizen. He has willingly put himself in a position to face publicly scrutiny. And as a Rams fan.... well let's just say we don't need one more thing to be embarrassed about. That being said, our elected officials have bigger things to worry about now don't they?

I agree, it's out of place for Congress to comment on the ownership of a sports team. As Stephen Colbert would say, let the free market decide!

It's ridiculous. Limbaugh is a turd but there happens to be some real scum out there that deserve it much more.

So Congress can comment on this, but still won't force the NFL to break up the NFL Sunday ticket Monopoly on DirectTV? Brilliant priorities.
