Wonder if they will remember that they are 4 billion light-years from birth-control.
My problem is that they seem so heaped on for their own sake rather than actually useful.
I've always applauded SG-1 for having that chemestry without flaling pray to a romance.
I do like the sets and lighting work on the new show. Unfortunately, I don't like the new show. Then again: I'm not a big fan of Atlantis or the last couple seasons of SG-1 (basically anythign after they got obessed with ascention and the Ori)
And WTH: the ship can get itself in the right solar system on the right trajectory but it can't just drop out actually at the star?
It's a pity that the ancients never developed "basic robotics". They went straight from "nothing", like what is maintaining destiny to super-nanite replicators.
And most of the characters are recycled from Atlantis. We have the dark-skinned violent guy who'se friends with the rugged but loveable farmboy-pilot-protagonist. There's the older but not as physically capable leader, and the nerdy genius, and the girl he fawns over, and the medic feeling overwhelmed. About the only new charater is the mad scientist: and.. well, I feel like Rodney drank Dr.Jeckle's formula to split into the nerdy Rodney and the self-absorbed evil Rodney.
Actually, now that I think of it, why are all the thug-characters black? Ronald, and Ronon, and Tealc, and even Warf.
And really: even with a warship in orbit, they couldn't defend Icarus base from a trio of H'Tak vessels?
