| So I played the 360 demo. Didn't like it one bit. Something about it just didn't feel right. Maybe it's how slow everything seems. Maybe it's because the graphics are toned down just enough to where it's noticeably worse than on PC. Or maybe I'm just prejudiced. If that's the only option you have to play it, it's perfectly adequate, I think. But totally inferior to the PC version if you have a choice. |

| It seemed like the zombies moved slower but were individually harder to kill. mmhmm.
I honestly wasn't wild about either.
Probably gonna rent this before I drop sixty bucks on it. |

| I have to agree with the above two posts. Save for the Crescendo Event where I ran through an area to get to the tower, the game seemed slower. Maybe that is to make Crescendo Events where you now have to move work better, but I dunno. The melee weapons were cool, although there's the tradeoff with actually having to move to kill Infected. Adrenaline and Bug Bait seemed sweet though.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| I actually hated moving for the crescendo event. The fun of the crescendo events in the first one was getting a small break and being able to set up traps. Having said that I'm going to pass on buying this one (I bought Dragon Age: Origins instead), but maybe it would make a nice Christmas present.

| Well, picked it up today, so I look forward to trying it out when I can. Unfortunately, I've got a lot of exams, so that may not be very soon . |

| Just played through the first campaign.
Pretty intense. I was playing on Normal and very nearly got destroyed several times. They really are taking this new "moving crescendo" event thing seriously. I think pretty much every one on the first campaign was a moving one. Not complaining, though because it made surviving much more challenging.
It's also interesting to see story-wise because as far as I can tell, this is the beginning of the infection, so no one quite knows what's going on just yet. So that's pretty cool.
Anyways. Yeah, buy this game.
As a sidenote, I did notice a couple pretty glaring bugs.
1) My AI partners seemed to enjoy standing around and letting me shoot everything and/or get killed repeatedly. One time I got constricted by a smoker and then got swarmed by a bunch of infected, and my teammates just stood about 10 feet away shooting the 3 or 4 zombies that were attacking them, making no effort whatsoever to come help me, thusly forcing me to die and restart that chapter.
2) Rochelle startled the witch and downed her. I started shooting the witch as normal, and the game tells me "YOU STARTLED THE WITCH, DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!" and it ran over and incapped me.
Those were really the worst two things, though.

| My copy of L4D2 is sitting on the table, unopened, just taunting me... Tomorrow...
I'm really eager to get my grubby hands on this game and slaughter some undead. |

| Ridiculously fun game, much better than the first. I love playing at the cafe with my friends because everything is ridiculous.

| Dark Carnival is an excellent campaign. I've only played two campaigns so far and I can't imagine how it could get better than that one. |

Definitely won't waste money on this.

This is best as a multiplayer game, though. I just played through the first campaign, and man, that was exhilarating! I love chainsaws! |
