I recently threw out hundreds of cd's because I realized that God wouldn't like them and Jesus wouldn't listen to them.

I use to listen to bands like:

Tool
Stone Temple Pilots
Thrice
The Mars Volta
Pink Floyd
Led Zepplin
Nirvanna
Ect Ect

I now have a couple Cd's that I've listened to hundreds of times... and well I need some other music.

I do not like most music that is on Christian Radio stations.

I like music that is both talented and convicting.

Just out of curiosity, why don't you think you can listen to Thrice anymore? You do realize that the singer Dustin Kensrue is a Christian, right?

As for the other bands listed, I'd recommend looking for these albums:

Chevelle's Point No. 1
Grammatrain's Lonely House
Skillet's self-titled album (it sounds much different than they sound nowadays. It's much more grungy than anything they've done lately)

I think you'll find those will fit the style of music you're looking for.

The listening (was compared to pink floyd I think), and early mutemath. amazing bands. Music with a christian message, but IS AMAZING MUSICALLY! I reccomend it to everyone.
