I guess I meant by expectation, a kind of self-driven expectation that a person would have, rather than someone else imposing it.
Like, so many brides expect pearl-drop earrings or something similar, off the shoulder dress etc. To these, adding a nose ring might become a standard, self-driven expectation.

| Oy! Conch piercings weird me out. I just expect then to be so painful. I think it'd look nice with a stud, though. You keeping the CBR or changing it after healing?
I want a new tattoo. Or piercing. Or both. ._. |

| haha.. it was kinda painful. she had to shove pretty hard. :P i'll probably change it to a seamless ring when it's healed. :]
I'm also going to be getting a new tat soon too.
