| I'm still pissed that they stole the name of the show from my favorite Disney Channel show growing up.
I won't be able to watch the premiere live, but I plan on checking it out online tomorrow. With LOST ending this year I'll be looking for something similar.

| I watched the premiere tonight and this is what I thought.
Acting is generally way over dramatic, script is cheesy, it had the typical elements that a mediocre TV show does these days (action, cheesy drama love lines, some sex etc.) and yet amidst the far fetched plot/theme of the series, it is suspenseful enough to keep me interested for another couple episodes at least. As long as they keep the mysterious atmosphere of the show throughout the series, it should keep me going (if I think of taking note when the episodes air).
I thought some of the foreshadowing tied together fairly well in this episode (the kid knowing that lady's name . . .)
That's what I thought.

| Just watched it tonight. I'm certainly curious now, so we'll see how this series goes. Some initial thoughts:
It seemed like they latched onto the idea of consciousness time-travel a little too quickly. I mean, that's a pretty out-there explanation, and everyone just accepted it. I don't know, maybe in a completely inexplicable situation like that, you'll accept anything.
I really want to know about the kangaroo.
April 29th, 2010 is a Thursday, which means this show will be on that night, I'm guessing as a season finale. So far, I can't see how this show progresses past that date. |

And I agree about how they will drag this out for more than a couple seasons, the second season (if there is one) will likely have a different plot than this season, or it will deal with whatever second stage there is for this, after they find out what the heck is going on.

| No, the lost spoiler in FlashForward. The Oceanic Airlines ad?
EDIT: Link here if anyone wants it. I'm not sure I'm buying it, but here's the story. Possible spoiler warning. http://scifiwire.com/2009/09/did-fla...rd-just-gi.php |

| I watched it and liked it.
April 29th is my brother's birthday. It also is the day my mom died. So that date has definite significance to me. |

| Did anyone see the latest episode? I hate liking this show, but now I'm hooked.

| My opinion as of episode three:
They've done a good job with hooking the audience on the mystery of the show. I am very curious as to what caused the blackout, who the people responsible were, and why they did it. The scene with the crows in Somalia at the end of this last episode was brilliant.
They are clearly still trying to hook Lost fans on the show. They've cast actors from Lost a few times now: Olivia is Penny, obviously, Kate the bartender was Cassidy (Sawyer's ex), and Dominic Monaghan is supposed to make an appearance on Flashforward sometime soon. Then there was the Oceanic billboard in the pilot, the very Lost-ish music in the background of the toy factory scene of episode two, and the fact that in their limited cast, they keep reusing names from Lost - after three episodes, we already have an Aaron, a Kate and a Charlie.
Soon, though, they're going to have to stop with the shoutouts and focus on getting me to like the show for what it is, not for what shows it is similar to. Because for all these attempts to lure Lost fans, they seem to have missed what the initial appeal of Lost was: the characters. Season one of Lost emphasized the characters so much that you came to be fascinated about the mystery surrounding them because you cared about the people. Flashforward hasn't done that yet. I honestly don't care about Mark and Olivia, who are supposed to be the main characters. Demetri, so far, is the most likable character, and the only one I find very interesting at all. They're going to have to get me to care more about these people in order to stay interested.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not faulting the show for not being Lost. I'm interested, and I will keep watching for a while, but if the show continues at this rate, I don't think it will survive past this season. |

| I think the show is doing a really good job and keeping the viewer wanting more. Everytime I watch the show I complain about the cheesy script and what not, but I can't help but watch it! I missed episode three, so I watched it on the internet using headphones that only work out of one ear. Thats how hooked I am now.
I'm really interested in what the kangaroo and D. Gibbons unravel to.

| No one keeping up with this show? I really don't want to, but I can't help it. The latest episode (6) was a good one, pulled me back in again, because with episode 5, I couldn't get into it. I don't really recall much of what happened on that episode.
