As of right now, I am not subbing tomorrow. Technically, this could change with a phone call at 5:30 AM, and I'm kinda hoping it doesn't, because I really need to finish painting my grandmother's house. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind subbing and getting some money. I guess we'll see what happens.
My girlfriend is sick. She spent most the day at my house on the couch, running a fever. Hopefully, she'll be better soon, but she's taking off work tomorrow, and missing class. |

| I finished painting my grandmother's house today. I also went to get my right eye looked at. It's been really blurry for the past two weeks. Unfortunately, the eye doctor can't figure out exactly what's wrong with it. He went to the next highest prescription lens for the next two days, so we'll see if that solves the problem. Hopefully, there's nothing seriously wrong with it.
I'm gonna clean my truck up tomorrow and take to a few dealers and such, just to see what they would give me or it, either cash or trade in. There's a lot of good deals for what I want out on craigslist. |

| I hate painting. It's cool that you got finished.
As for the eye, I would go to another doctor if it doesn't clear up soon. That's something I wouldn't mess around with. My mom had an eye problem that started I guess a few years ago. The doctor never could figure it out, so finally after about two or three different ones, one of them figured out it was an extremely rare eye disease. So then she was able to get the appropriate treatment. That just goes to show the importance of a second and sometimes third opinion. |

I'll let him have his second look tomorrow, and we'll take it from there.
I got a sub job lined up for Thursday and Friday, so that's gonna make three days on the pay period. At $87/day, that won't be a bad paycheck. Also, considering I got the money from painting and from doing some yardwork for somebody, I should finally have a good bit in the bank.
I'm trying to follow up on an ad posted on Craigslist. It's in Arkansas, about two hours from here, but it seems like a really good deal on a truck I want. Luckily, it's in a town my dad passes through quite often on sales trips, so he may get to stop in and look at it tomorrow. I love how my dad gets excited when I want a different vehicle, once I convince him it's a good idea. He's even offering to loan me the money to get one, assuming I pay him back the very moment I sell my truck, which should only take a few days. I'm just hesitant to sell it until I know for sure that I'm buying something else. It's a tricky situation.
Goodnight, yawl. |

| I thought it was spelled y'all.
Oh, and how's the vision?

Oh, and how's the vision? | My local newspaper used "yawl" once when I was eight, that was the first time I saw in in print, so I kept it like that.
Vision is much better. He swapped me from the old lens to a new type of silicone lens, and also increased the prescription in my right eye. I go back next Thursday just to make sure everything is ok.
I had a miserable time subbing today, it was a different school than normal, and the class was horrible. Everything was chaotic, and I really just don't want to talk about it. I'll give the school one more chance, but I will NEVER sub for that teacher again.
I'm driving up to Paragould, AR tomorrow to make an offer on this truck. I'm taking $4200 in cash with me. I'm really hoping he'll take $4000 even. Dad's going with me, and Dad's a great negotiator, but so far this truck has been much better priced than similar ones, and I'd hate to let it slip away. I know more about the pricing of these trucks, from my research, than he does.
Then, I get to sell my truck and pay the $4000 back to my parents! Did I mention I love my dad's enthusiasm for new vehicles? |

| I bought the truck, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to sell my Frontier yet. This is keeping me from having the money to put insurance on the new truck, and therefore drive it.
Still no sub jobs this week. Hopefully, something comes up. |

| Congrats on the new truck! Here's to hoping you can get rid of the other one very soon.
Hm. Seems like this time of year, and with all the sickness going around, something would come up. |

Got a guy coming in to possibly purchase the truck. |

| Well, I sold my truck a week ago, and now I'm proud to say that I am very happy with the F150. To make matters even better, it's getting better gas mileage AND is less on insurance.
Anyway, today and tomorrow is fall break for the Shelby County School System, so I don't have an sub jobs currently. I got two days coming up November 4-5, and nothing until then. Hopefully something will come up.
I had to take the family dog to the vet today. It's our 14 year old Sheltie, and she was in bad shape earlier. She lost about 6 pounds over the weekend, and was not eating or drinking. They gave her an IV and a pill, and she seems to be doing better. Atleast, now she's eating.
Gotta run errands tomorrow and pick up some scaffolding from my grandmother's. |

| I'm glad to hear things worked out with the trucks. That's awesome.
Hope your dog gets better soon. |

| Congrats on selling the truck and having a better one to replace it with. Hopefully you'll be able to pick up some more days soon.

| I picked up a subbing job for Friday. I guess the frustrating part is that there is really nothing I can do to get more days. I mean, obviously, I can do a great job when I'm there, and hope the teacher requests me the next time, but that's about it.
Got the tags and whatnot for the truck today. I was gonna go get the scaffolding, but the rain just won't stop. I'm not opposed to working in the wetness, but why do it when you don't have to?
My parents bought Wii Fit the other day, and it's a lot of fun. By far, however, my favorite minigame is this snowball fight thingie. You stand on the balance board and point the remote at the screen. You then lean left or right to poke your head out from behind a barrier and aim the wii remote at your opponents. The best part is, certain people (Art, Kepa, among others) have sent their Mii characters over to my Wii. Therefore, I've been in a virtual snowball war with Art, Kepa, Hitler, Joseph Stalin, George Bush, Michael Jackson, and Hilary Clinton, just to name a few.
Loads of fun, but doubt I'll get extremely healthy from this. |
