New Rig

I have been having nothing but troubles from my Markbass LMII, which sucks because it's out of warranty and nobody else I know or have talked to has had anything but a great experience. Blah. I was playing it at my house and it was working "fine" (meaning the issues I had with it were still there, but it was still producing sound and sounding good), then went to my show at night and it would power on but not send a signal.

I know nothing of electronics and can't even afford the bench fee for somebody to look at it, so I had to scrounge together a makeshift rig, so here it is!

Bass > Diamond Compressor > Sansamp Programmable Bass Driver DI > Peavey PV 500 power amp > Markbass 4x10

I don't know why I thought it was going to sound bad, but it sounds much better then I was expecting! It's not as versatile as I would like, but it's a fine temporary rig.

skeptical

I've been very skeptical about these new D-class amps. Many made in China.

I prefer to stick with an older American made amp. I love my old Ampeg B2R. Built like a tank.
