| Sharks home opener tonight... I have to listen on the radio. Ugh, work really gets in the way lately. |

| Big win for the Canucks last night. They scored a bevy of highlight reel goals. Kesler, Raymond, and Henrik scored three beauties and Bernier was the recipient of a ridiculous passing plays by the Sedins on the powerplay. Luongo let in one soft goal but was rock solid the rest of the night. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. I especially liked the line combination of Samuelsson, Kesler, and Raymond. A lot of speed on that line and each one of them scored a goal last night.
Sergei Shirokov got sent down to the Moose today. Not unexpected, but a lot of Canucks fans had high hopes for him this season. It may be a sign that Demitra is ahead of schedule coming back from his offseason surgery. |

| Think Dany Heatley is settling in? Three goals and a plus-6 can do that for you.
Must hurt to be getting beat by your own team in the fantasy matchup, eh Art?

| I love the Sharks most of all. Heatley with another goal, Patrick Marleau is playing insanely good hockey, and Nabokov was simply excellent tonight. 4-2 over the Wild. |

Well, the Bruins managed to take the Islanders in a shootout, beautiful shootout win by Savard. Good game for Tuuka Rask, i'm excited to see what kind of goaltender he becomes in the next couple years. Maybe he'll be ready to take over for Thomas when he retires.

| Marleau is not the problem in San Jose.
Canucks managed to pull off another win tonight, though it was far closer than it should have been. A couple defensive breakdowns let the Stars back into the game. |

| I have to say... I like the new players in San Jose a whole lot. Not just the obvious (Heatley), but all of them.
I miss Cheechoo, though. |

| I have to say that the Leafs suck. Vesa Toskala was the best player on the ice in a 7-2 loss. Yes, you read that right.

| The Flames redefined the word "choke" last night, giving up a 5-0 lead to the Blackhawks, losing in overtime 6-5.
As a Canucks fan, that makes me happy. |
