Not really. If you read everything she wrote about it, it makes a lot of sense, and she takes a fair line on it. *shrug*

Agreed. She took a fair line. Although, I do find any claims that the NHL was out to get the Red Wings or was trying to make Sid win a cup a little bit ridiculous (not to say luvinjesus was suggesting this). Granted, I am one of those aforementioned Wings haters, and for the same reasons that were mentioned. I also have a great respect for the team as well, though, for the same reasons.

Edit: Looks like my Flames decided to take a night off tonight. Hopefully such an embarrassing loss will wake them up.

After almost a week between games, the Canucks are finally back on the ice tonight! They'll be facing the Avalanche again, after handing them an 8-2 drubbing in their last meeting.

Hat trick for Heatley, 4 assists for Jumbo... Yeah, I think it worked out okay for both of us.

In other news, I no longer have a Sharks hat!

Awesome.

That's pretty sweet, actually.

After a big win against the Avalanche, the Canucks lost 1-0 to the 'Hawk tonight. I couldn't watch the game, stupid internet connection wouldn't work to let me watch the game on yahoo.com and I'm in the states with cable that doesn't pick up any Canadian channels...

Leafs finally got a break in their 2-1 shootout win against the Caps on Saturday. I shall refrain from complaining for a week in celebration

Anyone else see either of Perron's or Stamkos's goals? Unbelievable.

No kidding. Those are the best two goals of the year, in my opinion. Especially Stamkos with the backhand out of mid-air while on his back.

What?!
I have to find a clip of this.

EDIT*
Just watched it, unbelievable. I'd say definitely a contender for goal of the past couple seasons.

I don't know where you watched it, but the announcer I had just kept repeating, "Wow...wow...wow..." He was literally speechless.
