| That will be the day when the Leafs get someone, other than Kessel, who actually has finish. It doesn't matter how many shots a team gets if they're directed at the goalie's logo. |

As it was, though, it was pucks Leclaire couldn't even see coming at him ticking his glove and pads and just barely staying out, or diving saves that were more luck than anything else.

| Fair enough. Sometimes you just can't get any puck luck. |

Several players, including Ponikarovsky, Grabovski, and Kulemin have good shots, but they all seem to be overthinking. Keep going top corner and they'll start going in!

EDIT: And I thought the missed call against the Leafs was bad.

| Yeah...that one...that was brutal. There's no defending that call.
But to say it happens "at least three times a year" is as ridiculous as that call was. There's borderline calls all the time, but rarely something that bad and that obvious. |

In fact one of them happened during the playoffs earlier this year and Detroit lost a game because of it. And that was also another blatant and obvious call. And it does happen to Detroit quite often. And you will NEVER convince me otherwise, as I am actually a fan of Detroit and watch the games. |

| So wait, you're more qualified to make that judgement because you're more biased? |

And I'm sure there are other teams who also get their fare share of bad calls. I was just saying that I don't really complain about non goals anymore, because it doesn't change anything and there are quite a few instances every year where Detroit doesn't get a goal when they should have.
But then Detroit also has gotten very lucky in the past with other teams not getting goals to, when they should have. There is no point in complaining about it, because the refs are not going to get every call right every time. Get over it and move on. It will keep your heart rate down. |

| Absolutely fair to say. Your previous comment made it sound like it was a situation unique to Detroit, like the NHL is specifically "out to get" the Red Wings. There is a fair-sized contingent that do seem to believe that... |

Only because there were sooo many inconsistencies with the ref calling during the series, but it's only a game and you get over it. And I think the bias is more that most other fans HATE the Red Wings for no other reason than because they have been dominant since the late 90s and consistently beat other teams. I don't let other people's irrational biases and complaints get to me though, because I know delusion when I see it. |

| You talk about not complaining about it anymore, but it seems like you are right now . . .
