As good a reason as any to love a hockey player, I suppose.
Leafs lose their fourth straight OT contest. What's the record on this? Can't be much more.

That was a good idea... I think I took a little more abuse than I needed to over the first part of the season. | That's called being smart, Nate.
I'm not THAT worried about the Wings though. They usually pick up speed during the middle and end of the season.

| Canucks got another big win. They also ended up with an extra penalty after a post-whistle scrum in which the Rangers had 10 players on the ice, most of them mugging Ryan Kesler. I am absolutely confused as to how that happened. In any case, Raycroft played very well and Kesler assisted on 3 out of the 4 Canucks goals, one of them a beautiful pass to Rick Rypien who roofed it. It was a beautiful shot. |

I guess like right now. Quote:

| Go Sharks! Shootout win tonight in Columbus. Nabokov has been stellar. I love it. Detroit tomorrow. |

| Why won't God heal Marc Savard right now?

| I don't think God cares about Marc Savard right now. He's got his hands full with Ben Fanelli.

| Bruins are letting me down! I don't want to go back to being a fan of a team that can't make playoffs!
But seriously, they'll pick it up soon, i'm sure. It was nice to break the scoring drought against Montreal a couple days ago, though they still lost that game (their third in a row).
They beat the Sabres today, 4-2, which is a fairly big win, Buffalo is doing pretty decent this season so far.

| Man. The Sharks thrashed the Penguins at home tonight. It was truly ugly. And, obviously, very fun for me to watch. Nabokov was stellar again, and the got a shutout. |

| Leafs beat the Wings handily this weekend - and we've got Minnesota on Tuesday.

| Canucks wasted a great effort from Cory Schneider, losing 2-1 as the young goalie made 45 saves. It was an ugly game for the Canucks, who just couldn't get anything going in the second game of a back-to-back situation. |

| Wild have won 4 of 5 with their latest 5-2 win over Toronto. Backstrom has 100 career wins.

| Backstrom was ridiculous in the last two minutes.
