I've got something funky going on...

On my left tonsil I have a weird white thing on it. It affects my voice for sure because whenever I have it I definitely have trouble just staying on pitch. I went to my doctor to have a look and he merely looked at it for 2 seconds and told me it was deadskin and should have nothing to worry about. I feel food and such rub against it also and it feels uncomfortable. I'm wondering if anyone else has had something like this? I think my left tonsil is also bigger then my right and is a little redder then the other side. This is the second time in about 2 months this has happened and the first time it fell off and I thought that there was nothing else to worry about but now its appearing again.

If it's a recurring problem, you might want to have it checked out by an ENT.

Might it be something like this? I suppose that doesn't really explain why you can't stay on pitch, though.

That is exactly what it is. Should that not have an effect on my pitch?
