What sort of jazz?

Jazz is something you improvise much more than learning songs.

i could help you on jazz to listen to, but not to play, perse.

I'd start with the greats though. Smooth jazz is evil perpetuated by people like the anti-jazz, Kenny G.

and jazz isn't supposed to relax you man, jazz is here to challenge you, to expand your mind man [/this train - Jazz]

I dunno, i just like how jazz sounds and wanted to play some. but yeah i suppose listening to alot of different types of jazz and jazz songs would help me hear how the licks normally sound.
