or the japan delta smelt- subset of the same fish--just like homosapine caucasus, and homo sapien mongoloid are just different subsets of the same genus and species man.
Now if you want to talk about teh subspecies unique to the delta- I agree with you that subspecies is found there. But delta smelts are found elsewhere as I showed.

First, let's check your numbers. For fairness, I'll use your own reference:
The man-made actions have been devastating to California's San Joaquin Valley where it is estimated that this year alone up to 35,000 jobs will be lost
So you said 80k and counting. Your cite says 35k will. That makes your claim a lie.

I have been wondering why you have been harping on this so much and now I know why .
I never used the cites to prove the claim of 80,000 unemployed as you keep trying to say I did. I used it to disprove your claim of this:

BTW. I bothered to go look up your original complaint, and it's simply a lie.
No Jerry-- you do!

Also it may be interesting to know this is not a native fish to America- it was introduced to our waters from Asia.
As for the Salmon- there are many other fish species they can dine on- I wonder what they ate before this man made river went into ops in 1968?? And when there were no delta smelt. it seems the salmon didn't suffer so much. If it is such an endangered species why ar etrhey still pumping from othr locations in the delta for water to drink?

to prove this was a govt. indiced drought in the central valley due to the fish. Not one of these were used to prove the 80 K claim.
Then when you saw the discepancy inth enumbers you posted and I responded here.

Well that was a may 9 report- as of last week it is now 80,000 as my reference said ir would climb to

So either you are a very careless reader or youa re intnetionally playing games to devert attention from the fact that this is a govt. made disaster. You and not me are using this as a claim for the 80,000 jobs lost in the central valley this year so far due to the delta smelt which is found in several locations but teh sub species known as transcificus is only in the san joaquin delta.
Either way you are very disingenious in your manipulating your information on this tragedy.
But on a brighter note I have a new tool to help me in my debating you. It should allow me to spot your strategies to deviate form the topics by your little rabbit trails.
It is Glenn Becks new book
