| I'm just going to go ahead and say it. What the heck was Belichick thinking?
Bad weekend for me in football, but at least the Steeler's lost again to the Bengals

I agree with Nate about coaching decisions this weekend. Perhaps there's another type of H1N1 virus that attacks the brains of NFL coaches. the Hut one, hut one virus. |

I thought the message Bill sent out last night was, "I don't trust my defense against the Colts with the game on the line." |

...and did the Saints seriously almost lose to the Rams, and the Broncos fell to the Redskins?

| Yeah, I'm still a little dumbfounded by Belicheks call as everyone is. Maybe if their field position was a little better, I might not consider it as bad of a call, but on their own thirty? Gutsy. Anyways, I know a lot of people who are ripping on Belichek for it, and like, hes won 3 (should have won 4) Super Bowls, so I'm not sure how you question his legitamacy. Anyways, it was a bad call, most coaches make pretty bad calls here or there, this one just so happened to cost him a game.

I certainly think he would pick up 2 yards, and salt away the game. At any rate, I have a feeling they may meet again in the playoffs, and if things hold true, it will be back in Indy once again! |

| I feel bad for Brady Quinn. He spends most of the game being horrible, then when he finally hits a couple of guys with passes, they drop them right into Baltimore's hands.

Look at how much Drew Brees improved under Sean Payton, or Phillip Rivers under Norv Turner. Brady Quinn might still be a good quarterback someday, but he's gonna need a different coaching staff. |

At the NFL level, there really aren't any bad players....there is talent there, they just don't have the coaching staff to put it all together. Confusion is everywhere. Example: on the first Baltimore score (after keeping Baltimore scoreless for the first half) they only had 10 players on the field. It's just silly. The coach should have called a time out.
