Actually, I had the Broncos as the wildcard. Sorry about the typo.

And as far as Romo goes, I think he's gonna come through this year. Also, I think he will eventually get on track with Roy Williams, so the Cowboys will have two receivers, instead of just Miles Austin. The Broncos will collapse inn the second half of the season, and the Chargers are known for late season surges.

Being the only colts fan at the church that I serve at...in Dallas...a Colts victory over the Cowboys in the SuperBowl could mean my job....

Not gonna happen. Take a look at the schedules.

Denver still has four losable games (SD, NYG if they get back on track, PHI and IND). I really think the game that could separate the AFC West is going to be Week 11's DEN v. SD. After two straight losses (PIT and BAL) Denver has turned what looked like a runaway in the division into something that could be interesting.

Hmm... A receiver set that rivals any in the league, one of the best O-line's in the league, a smart, efficient quarterback, two decent RBs, an excellent secondary, a defensive line doing its job every week, a linebacking corps that includes NFL sack leader Elvis Dumervil and run-stuffer D.J. Williams.

San Diego is good when they play to their potential, but we have the horses this year as well.

Even if Denver loses all four, won't San Diego have to go 6-2 to get to 11-5? And San Diego still has PHI, DEN, DAL, and CIN(maybe the Titans should also be added to this list?). I'm not saying it couldn't happen, I'm saying that it's unlikely.

I agree. It was unlikely to happen last year as well. If Denver finishes 4-4 and San Diego finishes 5-3 (with a win in Week 11) then things will get interesting in terms of tiebreakers. It would go to how they fared against common opponents since (for sake of argument) I'll assume that they both sweep the Chiefs and Raiders in the season series. Right now SD and DEN have tied (2 losses each) against their common opponents (PIT and BAL).

Anybody still like Jay Cutler over Kyle Orton this year? Five picks on Thursday night for Cutler...

Yeah... five beautiful, wonderful interceptions, including one in the end zone to end the game...

Yeah. A combination of things... including some ugly, stupid, conservative play calling. The last one was the last play of the game, but they did not score nearly enough points on all of those turnovers.

There was a lot of really ugly, stupid, conservative [well, not so much conservative in the games I saw] play-calling this week it seemed.

I watched the Saints and the Colts-Pats game. Yikes! There was enough bad play-calling in those two games to have all four coaches fired!

The Saints and the Colts both got really really lucky this week. That was some impressive foot-shooting that the Rams and Patriots pulled off.
