My point, is that, by not being able to see the game on T.V, doesn't make me want to go to the actual game anymore than I would normally. I don't think many other people go for this reasone either.

My point is more of a local Detroit thing. Part of it has to do with the fact that the Lions suck, and have sucked for the past 10 years, and they haven't had a problem selling out in this span, (ever since they moved out of the Silverdome, which seated 80,000 and was impossible to sell-out, which is another thing) until this year and the last.

The other part is the economy, which I think has more than anything to do with why the Lions haven't sold out 2 of their 4 home games, and I don't think this stat is going to improve (except on like, thanksgiving).

I'm not saying that the NFL shouldn't have the right to do this either; its their league. I'm overall just dissapointed that I won't see as many Lions games and potential wins (which doesn't happen too often) this year.

I'm pretty bummed about the day so far. I really, really wanted the Dolphins to beat the Pats, and the Texans to beat the Colts and from what I could see trying to follow the games on NFL.com it looked like both games had a chance of going my way until the end. Bummer, bummer, bummer.

I am happy about the outcome of the Arizona/Chicago game. It looks like Kurt Warner took a sip from the fountain of youth before the game.

Now, if the Charges can put one on NY and the Cowboys can pull off a win I'll see the day as salvaged.

I'm pumped for Tennessee and Vince Young. I hope he becomes a star.

Broncos taking on Pittsburgh tonight - this one should be good.

Vince Young was on the verge of professional stardom before he got injured and lost his job to Kerry Collins.

He was still pretty young. He might have lost it anyways. In any case, I'm glad he's doing well.

2 in a row for the Titans! And as well as Young is playing, it's CJ's team...he's just ridiculous.

It's pretty funny that Tampa only win in their...beautiful retro uni's...

True, but it's not possible to win in this league without a functional quarterback. See for reference: Minnesota, pre-Favre.

I liked most of the outcomes this week except for the Texans and Saints. I can see the Texans pulling out with ten wins this season.

I'm loving that the Giants have lost four in a row after touting how good they were after their first five wins over the worst teams in the league (excluding the Cowboys).

Here's hoping that the Broncos bring it tonight

Man, I'm so with you on the Giants thing. I'm not so optimistic about the Texans though. They would have to win a pretty high percentage for the rest of the season and I don't think their schedule is real easy.

Well it won't be the easiest schedule, but we've got the Jaguars, Titans, Dolphins, Seahawks, and Rams coming up. I can see us winning all five of those.

28-10... not good. Sports Illustrated still had nice things to say about the Broncos though:

Would they lose their swagger and confidence after the defeat, like the Jets and Giants both have done ever since the Saints handled them earlier in the season? Or was the Ravens loss just a temporary setback on the way to a postseason berth?

The Broncos answered that question right from the get-go by firing on all cylinders and dominating the first half statistically, if not on the scoreboard; and that was the problem. The Broncos controlled the action, yet had relatively little to show for it. Kyle Orton was able to spread the football around throughout the game, and especially early, to both Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal. His interceptions were costly, however, leading to 14 Steelers points. The Broncos may have lost the game, but they went toe-to-toe with the defending Super Bowl champs for 53 minutes before caving in the final minutes. The Broncos will be a factor for the rest of this season and likely in the playoffs, as well.

I read somewhere that the local coverage (Denver sports pundits) are calling for Orton's head on a pike.

Oh no! He threw his first three meaningful interceptions of the year! If I recall correctly, Cutler had more in his first three quarters for the Bears this year.

Quite a feat there, having San Diego taking two play-off spots. I think Denver will take the West (i bet you think so too) I think your picks would be nearly identical to mine. Other than the Cowboys making it to the Super Bowl. I'm still not a believer in Romo.
