How about no picks and 4 TDs? I could see the Vikings having 12+ wins by the end of the year. Maybe it's just me, but I think they look pretty good. Most of their wins have come against average or better teams...some have been pretty solid wins.

THE RAMS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE RAMS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE RAMS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found it rather odd that so many Packer fans booed Favre, when it wasn't him that demanded a trade, but the front office that sent him packing. I suppose most were booing the vikings QB more than Favre.

Way to go Rams. Now the state of Missouri has 2 wins between the 2 teams there!

I'm not able to watch games right now, so I don't know about fans at the game booing, but the NFL web page lists "fan ratings" for each game. I don't know how they come up with the numbers, but the Vike vs Pack game was at 91 and it seems the average is somewhere around 80. So it was definitely the most "popular" game of the week. Anyone know how the come up with that number?

Well...more than just booing the viking's QB, it's that he (seemingly) went out of his way to be the viking's QB. If I were a fan, I'd be a tad upset too.

You can vote on it. Just click the thing and drag to what you think.

Broncos got blown out. Can't say I didn't see this coming, but I was still hoping.

Who dat! Anyone still not a believer?

After last week's fourth quarter come-back and this week's fourth quarter hold-off, what do the nay-sayers have to talk about?

Umm... I don't think they'll go undefeated.

I don't know any Saints fans that think they'll go undefeated either. All they expect is a NO/Pit or NO/Indy showdown in the big game.

Not even that, really, but at least a repeat appearance in the NFC conference match-up after a pretty lackluster and injury-ridden season last year.

No way we'll go undefeated, but we clearly have the resolve to hold out when things get down to the wire. That's championship football playing, there.

That last offensive drive we had in the fourth quarter, set up by the red-zone stop on Porter's pick, was the best I've seen them play in a long long time.

Atlanta had a real shot there after they snatched that one from Brees, but our defense came through and we rallied a hundred-yard drive to seal the deal.

Our problem in the past is that we've had flashy players and made exciting plays, but could never finish things out [in the red-zone or the game in general].

We still have flashy players and an on-again-off-again offense, but we don't seem to have the problem anymore of making big plays only to get FGs or INTs.

Since Brees / Payton, we've been one of the top offenses in the league stat-wise every season, but this is the first year we seem to be able to finish what we start.

The Lions lose to the Rams...my second favorite team haha

Does anyone else think the blackout system in the NFL is kind of stupid?

Not sure what you mean by stupid.

If the game is not a sell out 72 hours prior to the kick-off, they don't broadcast it locally. They simply want more ticket sales. Why would that be stupid?

Now, with ticket prices where they are in some locales, I can certainly understand fans not wanting to spend huge bucks to see NFL football. Of course my team (KC) isn't really NFL caliber, but the ticket prices sure are! They still haven't had a blackout here, but sometimes I wonder if that might not be a good thing. As a life-long Chiefs fan, it can be quite painful sometimes to watch the agony of defeat week after week after week....

The blackout rule stinks, especially since a third of teams are having issues with sales. But, it is their right to enforce the rule, it's their business. It's also somewhat their fault for setting high ticket prices. Personally, I'd like to see them suspend the rule for a year or two and see how much of a difference it makes in sales. I wonder if sales would go up if the community became more aware of their local team.

Case in point, New Orleans, which stunk for years and year, but has always had big ticket sales. The community loves that team, even when they stink.

Case in point, the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks. Never broadcast any games, period. Never had any fans come, period. Started broadcasting games - started getting sold out. I don't think the blackout really does anything for the team.

The thing is that it is well publicized that the games are blacked out locally because of a lack of sales. Typically on the news in San Diego every Thursday is an announcement that if "x number" of tickets aren't sold by 5PM on Friday there will be a local blackout.

This scheme is also more profitable for networks like the NFL Network that show all of the games. It forces fans in a blackout region to subscribe in order to be able to watch their favorite team on TV.

On one hand I could see the Saints easily going undefeated, their next three games could only get easier if they substituted the Chiefs for the Panthers. The only real challenges they face in the rest of the season is Dallas and New England, and maybe Atlanta.

On the other hand I doubt that they'll go undefeated because they're offense will wear down eventually.
