Depending upon where it shipped from it could take it a while. Plus, the USPS can sometimes be ridiculously slow shipping things.

sometimes customs can be ridiculously slow. I have been waiting almost a month for a package from Germany.

I hope you are all correct...

However, Israelpost.com says it was shipped (by plane) to the US on the 11th. USPS says there is no iten which is referred to by the tracking confrimation number. Which sucks and makes me really mad...

So, when I get my money back I will probably purchase this ring. Alyssa and I were looking around ans she liked this one a lot.... of course, I am still "looking" so she won't know....

As Bill said, customs can be tricky... 10 days isn't all that uncommon. USPS usually won't update tracking status until the item is on the move (and sometimes not even until it's been out for a few days... Once, I couldn't get any tracking info for a package until had traveled across country and was a city away.). I'm not sure how they handle tracking with international orders, but I definitely wouldn't give up hope yet.

Being the first time I have actually ordered merch overseas, I didn't know what to sepect, naturally, I was nervous. Well, I am glad all of my fears were wrong, and that you guys were right! It came in today! I am so happy!

Now, I just have to plan the proposal...

YAY! I was so anxious for you. I'm glad it came in, because that ring is beautiful.

good luck planning the proposal. =)

my best friend's fiance seems to be of the opinion that planning the actual proposal is the best and most nervewracking part leading up to engagement.

Sometimes it pays off to be a little more patient.

Voila!
I think this is the idea! If this is terrible please tell me
Here it is: a scavanger hunt in the square at my town. It would be really specific to that area (it is very historic, so that should make it easier), and I would be waiting at the last one with the ring. Of course, I would not tell her that I wouldbe at the last one, and I would not tell her what the prize was.

Sounds like you're going to need to enlist some help to pull it off. Can your (or her) friends be counted on to keep mum?
