| What is your starbucks drink? I'm scared to venture, I wasn't a coffee drinker until a friend of mine last year started hanging out with me all a lot and we got Vanilla Lattes like every day for lunch. But thats what I get at Starbucks ( not iced, only hot ) then if its hot out a Carmel Frap...
What else should I try? |

| I love the tea Latte's, especially the Earl Grey one. I also like the mocha's with soy milk instead of whole. Other than that my favorite is usually just straight coffee

| Chai latte. I can't stand anything that contains any coffee, so that makes Starbucks orders difficult. |

| I don't drink coffee, and if I do it's nearly always decaf. Froo froo coffee? Almost never.

| Double CC Frap, with two shots of espresso. Unfortunately they can't ristretto with their stupid espresso makers.
And they call themselves a coffeeshop... |

And they call themselves a coffeeshop... | Sure they can. Kind of. Their method of making one is to pull the shot glass away before all the water goes through. When I worked at a licensed Starbucks, we learned how to make ristretto shots. The machine actually pauses at the end of the shot, letting you know when to take it away. I'm sure it doesn't taste the same as the original method of making ristrettos, but it's worth a shot (ha!).
Anyway, my default drink is a grande nonfat hazelnut latte. But sometimes I'm in the mood for other stuff... a wide range of other stuff.

mmmm now I want one.
Mocha frappacinos w/ a shot of esspresso and some hazelnut are good too, but they are too dang expensive.

There are many, many things you can get that aren't coffee. And lots of the flavored lattes are too sweet that you can't even really taste the espresso. Quote:

Sbux doesn't always hire the smartest of the crowd. All of our machines are automated (we don't pack our own shots, many [including myself] would call that blasphemy and say we're not "real" baristas - however, if I had to tamp my own shots for every espresso drink I've made there, I'd choke something) but we DO serve ristretto shots. Also, this is for everyone: licensed Starbucks are not "real" Starbucks. They're owned and operated by the stores in which they operate. They don't sell many of the same products, nor do the employees get the training actual stores do or have to maintain the same kind of sales goals real stores do. Many complaints I get about drinks being made incorrectly or being told "we can't make that" are from licensed stores or incorrectly trained/uncaring baristas. That being said... My favorite drinks are: Iced green or black tea (or the two mixed together), no water, with two packets of raw sugar. Iced passion tea with lemonade and berry-currant juice. Iced flavored soy lattes. As much as I'm trying to get away from refined sugar, my favorites are: - Pumpkin spice. - Toffee nut, peppermint or raspberry syrup mixed with either one or both black/white mochas. Frappuccinos: - Half creme/half coffee-based frappuccinos. My recent favorite is with chocolate chips, 1/2 a pump of toffee nut and caramel sauce. - Green tea frappuccino with raspberry syrup. - Vanilla bean frappuccino with caramel sauce or peppermint or raspberry syrup. - Strawberries & creme frappuccino with either or both mochas. If you put toffee nut syrup in it (without mocha), it tastes like Captain Crunch Berries.

| The only time I ever visited Starbucks was when I was working on their sign. I went in and asked for ice water. They thought I was crazy. I wasn't even charged for it.
Does that count? |
