OOP Christian Blog Sites

I find myself visiting these more and more and really enhancing my music collection.

There is a bit of an ethics issue with whether these are legal, but I see nothing wrong with getting free albums that are no longer being released or marketed. This seems to happen quite a bit in Christian music, to the point where entire labels go from being major sellers to folding in less than a year.

On these sites, I find all sorts of things from Blonde Vinyl, Bulletproof, early Tooth and Nail, Organic, and many many more.

Does anybody else visit these, or have an interest in visiting some?

I've done this a little bit. Got a lot of punk and hardcore that I couldn't find elsewhere.

Heavenly Grooves is without a doubt one of the most interesting sites on the internet. It has the rarest of the rare when it comes to early Christian rock.

In Defense Of His Hands is my favorite, although it is mainly interested with 90s music.

Old Christian Music deals with lots of 80s CCM and rock.

Job's Grave has lots of 80s rock/metal.

The people who run these are very concerned with copyright issues and the such, which certainly makes me feel much more ethical about visiting them.

Man...I love those sites. I found copies of some stuff I have on cassette that has been unplayable for years. Thanks for the heads up.

Wow...this is really cool. I'm definitely going to be checking out these sites over the next few days. A handful of artists on "In Defense of His Hands" have already caught my eye.

I've been replacing a lot of my old cassettes using two of those sites. Very nice to be able to hear some of this stuff again.
