Why do people want to "boost" post count?

*confused*

Because it shows that you are an active, participating member of the CGR community.

Hey, hey, hey...we're talking about post count not "kick your butt in the arcade" points. I was too busy schooling you guys in the arcade to actually talk to you.

...Which is kind of ironic, considering the fact that, if you are an active, participating member, everyone already knows it. If you're not, people look at your post count and say, "Oh wow, that n00b really thinks he's something for boosting his post count up with spam, huh?"

My post count is 53/72s Spam. The rest is e-thugging in Cars.

Would we, as a community, better spend our time demonstrating good GD threads rather than whining about 'Reason to Clap' threads? And by we, I mean you guys, because I'm freakin' awesome.

My post count is not "boosted". It is exactly where it should be. Higher than yours (with a few exceptions).

Drink more before you post and you'll get over that little hang-up.

I agree. You post less in CPF than I do, and more in real forums.

Nope, I'm not trying to wring answers. I'm trying to keep the thread on topic, and asking questions that maintain the topic help with that. That said, thanks for the call to cool off. I was getting pretty passionate.

I'll also develop a hiccup. Who doesn't enjoy that?

Does post count increase fertility?
