Facebook email warning

Guys, I received an email this morning from a relative with the following message and thought it might be a good thing to know:

Snopes isn't sure yet, but not clicking on such a message seems like a good idea to me. Unless you really are offensive, then you should probably click on it.

I usually go by that motto too. I don't click on anything unless I understand what the little intro part of the message says and I know who it's from. I have received SPAM messages through facebook from friends who's accounts have been hacked. I simply delete them and move on.

All that aside, I wonder how long before this will either be confirmed or denied.
