| PowerTab forum changes We've got a Power Tab forum, but I now find Guitar Pro so much better and easier to use. Not only that, I posted a thread in GD on the topic and the majority of people responded saying that Guitar Pro is better.
Power Tab has a forum and since this is the case, Guitar Pro, being more popular and more widely used, is worthy of a forum, IMPO. Plus I'd be happy to help moderate.
If we don't get the forum, can we at least change the Power Tab forum (e.g. rename it) or give us the ability to upload Guitar Pro files?
What do you guys think?

| Renaming the "Power Tab" forum to "Tablature Editor" forum may be a decent idea. I personally use TablEdit (well, i WOULD if they'd send me my freaking license key again like I asked them to since I lost it). The main problem is that PowerTab is freeware, wheres everything else worth mentioning at all, with the exception of TuxGuitar, is not freeware. I personally hate it when I have to work from Guitar Pro files because I do not have a good way to open them. |

| I like TuxGuitar minus the fact that vocals aren't supported. |

It reads all forms of Guitar Pro and Power Tab, plus, like you said, it's free.

| How about more suggestions for a rename? I think that is the most likely scenario here. |

| Though I am not a moderator I am in favor of a rename. I think it'd open up a lot more traffic to a dead forum. I remember when there used to be a moderate amount of traffic in and out of that forum, but it's since died off. I used to run Power Tab quite some time ago, but I left it behind when you couldn't get the files for it. All that being said, I am in favor of a re-name, though I guess my opinion doesn't really count.

| What I am saying is, I am going to rename it, but I want a better name than "Tablature Editor". I am looking for name suggestions. |

Then you could name it "Tablature Editing Softwares" and explain in the discription that "This area is to share your Power Tab, Guitar Pro, and other tablature editing files."
This one's free...I won't be sending a bill.

| Computer Guitar Tab Editors, maybe? I don't know though, this is a fairly lame idea for a name on second thought. I'm sure if we keep thinking about we'll get something.
