How long have you been online?

I think I got my first internet account around May 1994. My original computer was a Packard Bell, and it came with 1.6 Gig hard drive and 8 mb RAM. Yep, you read it right... 8 mb of RAM. I believe it was running Windows 3.1

Got my first computer somewhere around 95, internet 99. First computer had 2 GB hdd which was, at the time, HUGE. Btw, the hdd was in fact what is known as a Star Wars drive because it was immense and looked like the Millenium Falcon.

I've had internet access as long as I can remember.
First email address when I was maybe 7 or 8, but our ISP required us to have separate logins to get on the 'net

I feel like I first jumped on the internet sometime in 1997 or 1998.

I think we got our first AOL account back in 1995. We had 5 hours per month. I still use that email account too. Our first computer was an Apple IIE. It had no mouse or hard drive.

My first computer was a BSR IBM compatible, and had 40 MB HDD, 512kb RAM and a 16Mhz processor! It was twice as big as my dad's at the time! Didn't get online until 1998.

I think we bought our first home computer in like 1997 right before the release of Windows 98. We've only been online since like 1999 though. I can't complain though. Lots of people near me are still on dial-up while we've progressed to DSL.

this was our first computer, and I am totally serious. We had an old 13 inch TV that we used as the monitor. We would stay up all hours playing Parsec. A couple years later we upgraded to a Commodore 64.

But the question is how long have I been online... and I can't remember what year that would be.

Somewhere between 96 and 98. Back then I just used it to find images of anime characters to put as my computer background. :-p
