Broke 100 several times in an '84 Chevy Z-28 with a 350. Wasn't really comfortable doing it.

I was a passenger in an Eagle Talon TSi going 120 one time. Didn't like that either.

Went to Germany in 1999 with my employer and we rented a Chrysler minivan (all wheel drive). Maxed it out on the autobahn at 110 mph-downhill, wind at our back. It had a trip calculator, and when you switched it over to gas consumption, you could almost see the reduction as you went (It was in liters, and kpm, so not sure what I was looking at exactly). Even back then gas was the equivalent of about $6 gal.

GPS 123 mph on an on ramp. The bike is electronically limited at 123. (FZ8 Yamaha). And when I was a mechanic, about 140 in a Buick with a supercharged 3800. (Park Ave Ultra)
