My driver's ed segment 2 teacher...

In 1975, I learned to drive in high school drivers ed from a teacher we called Shakey Shields. He was very shakey. He had a huge nose that was always red. In retrospect, I think he was an alcoholic, and he was teaching kids to drive. I was pretty naive, I guess.

I have been in CPF lately. But, historically, greatness flows from CPF like blood from an avatar flower. The flow has been spotty lately, sure, but it flows on regardless.

I have cousins that live on the Blackfoot reservation as missionaries and they said there are still a few places like that.

I do not know. What I do know, is that in Germany, you actually have to know how to control a vehicle in order to get a license in the first place...

This is true... It's amazing that on a freeway with and average speed of 120mph there are less than half the amount of fatal crashes per year (I'm not sure this is 100% accurate, but I've read a few articles saying that was the case.

I'm not sure about less than half.... but I am sure that it has a lower fatality rate than any freeway in the United States.

Regardless... I think we should have better driving school standards. When I drove for the first time I got in the car and was told to pull out on a busy main road with a speed limit of 45 before I even drove around a parking lot or learned what the road signs meant. I think you should be able to maneuver in a parking lot obstacle course at roadway speed before you can go on the road.
