Have a listen to the song "Never Walk Alone" off of United Abominations. It seems to be written from the perspective of God speaking to us as humans. That and a lot of their other songs on that album and The System Has Failed (which actually features a spoken-word recitation of Psalm 23 over heavy guitars) feature a lot of references to things talked about in the Bible.
