He lives in New Zealand, and isn't actually qualified for the position, but if you would pay his airfare and lodging he would probably be willing to go back for his Masters in Nursing - assuming you have tuition reimbursement." |

| I had a professor in college who actually had a telemarketer call and told them to hang on one second. He left and went to a city about thirty minutes away and came back....unfortunately the gentleman on the other end had already hung up. I do feel bad when I do things like that to actual people. If it's just a recording then I don't care. The worst part of all of this is right around election time. All of those people calling to tell me to support this candidate and that candidate. Like I'd vote for someone simply because they said to.

| Part of my job involves answering phones for our whole unit. Years ago, I was a receptionist. Trust me, there are no interesting phone calls. One of the things I'm looking forward to in Heaven is no phones. |

#29 | | not so bright | I accidentally dialed a wrong number yesterday and the guy that answered the phone sounded like he was someone who had never seen a phone before and was absolutely terrified of it. He's voice was shaking to the point it sounded like he was about to cry and his voice was really faint. It was bad enough that I did ask him if everything was okay before I hung up. Weird.
