| I got up to 17,000ish last night. I'm pretty happy with my pace, considering that I started on the 5th, rather than the 1st. And my heroine has already discovered the first skeleton in the closet. It will hardly be the last...

| I missed all of yesterday as well.
However, I have been working well this afternoon. I've done almost 2,000 words in the last hour and a half. I will be back on track by the time I go to bed tonight. |

For all I know, it might very well wind up in a closet. And, her dress was in someone's closet, who gave the dress to someone else, who is wearing it, without knowing that it belonged to a dead woman. A woman who caused, let's say, complications among the family. And a woman who looks enough like the newcomer to disturb someone's troubled conscience...
Does that count?
Update: 22,000+ now. As I hinted at above, the cracks are beginning to show. It isn't going to be one big happy family for much longer...

| I submitted the finished file today. Lots of warmfuzzies with all of the praise they shower on the winners.

| I have 30,500 words to go. (My friend surprise visited me from Florida, so I spent a full week doing fun things that were not writing...)
I'm still going to try to finish. |

| Okay, here goes, then...
Just a word of warning, it starts out slow and a bit sappy, and the ending is a bit rushed, IMO, but, then, I'm used to having a lot longer to write, re-write and edit whatever I'm doing.

I hit 15,000 and got real busy doing other things. However, I think I have 15,000 really good words. I definitely intend to finish it. |
