as much as I like sans serif fonts, and Helvetica is a great choice (so is Verdana IMO), i have a warped affection for one particular serifed font...

Lucida Console. It's delicious.

I tend to like the more calligraphic serif fonts a la Garamond, and less of the more modern Times Romans and Didots. I have had an addiction to a particular font called "Californian" lately, though...

I would add Trebuchet MS to the list. It is so versatile.
