| Weather Dayz of the Week It was Saturday a few minutes ago and now the rain has really started. The forecast for the day was that it would reach 23 celcius with thunder showers starting in the early afternoon. Well, most of the day was overcast. Around 1:00 PM it looked like lightning would start any moment followed by thunder. But, the forecasters got it wrong again. While I tried to make a quick dash out, getting back was no problem - no natural bathe. Now this night, the rains have finally come.
Tomorrow/today's forecast calls for humidity reaching 33 celcius. Huuummmm. Lets see if it happens.

| It's Sunday and they were right. I could not even get out to church today. The temp was a high of 26 celcius but felt like 36C. Forecasters said it would go near humidex of 40C, what a pressure cooker! Too uncomfortable for my likings. The thunder and lightning was a show - fierce, ongoing for two full hours - made me wonder who could be caught out under a tree. Good news is that nobody was, only some trees falling on cars. I was tempted to go get the camera and post some pictures to album here, but opted to watch instead.
What a mixed bag of elements.

| Monday was a repeat of Sunday but on a lesser scale. The temp reached 26 C and felt like 34 with the humidex. The clouds were threatening in very dark grey tones, but barely opened more than twice and only in sprinkles.
It's Tuesday and we were blessed with a very long period of sunshine. Everything looks so green and beautiful and one can hear the lawn mower in use for the neighbouring townhouses. The news showed those at the beach to enjoy 'summer'. What a surprise they got; the prepared ones took umbrellas and opted for cover. So, we still have the heat trying to mix with the cools and providing the percipitations. 27C and still humidex of mid 30s.

| lol ... normal way to start a conversation.
But overall, I watch documentaries on disasters and pay close attention to what happens during hurricane season. Like the situation in Twaiwan (typhoon), what a 'disaster', so I read to keep up-to-date with whats happening there.
(The thunder just rolled).
Hi to you too.

| huumm ... boring, excitement or afraid?
Even yesterday as I t yped about the thunder, then 30 mins later came breaking news that a mother, and two children were struck by lightning while crossing a soccer field. Condition of lightning victim improves
Thank God they are improving!
So after that brief, isolated pop-up, it's Thursday today and the heat really came in. As though nature is saying time to dry some stuff out. The high today was 26C feeling like 30C.

| For Saturday I could not comment on the weather because I was out of town. But today Sunday - it is a stinger. Right now the temperature is showing 29C, mostly cloudy and humidex of 36C. I imagine thought that most folks were getting out and enjoying what they call 'patio' weather because you never know - storms are now brewing in the atlantic.

| Did not get here yesterday but today Monday it is rather: Hot Hazy Humid.
Bring me a fan someone. Outside was not bad though - thought it would be clammy but not.
The thermo really went down to humidex 38C ... sticky sounding.

| Until the weathere pattern changes a bit, my posts will look the same - hot, hazy and humid so there is not much more to add. A little cooling trend is coming - so is Hurricane Bill.

| The damage after that storm was severe - 120 homes (approx.) damaged and one death. A teenager in a park on a summer picnic. The storm came quickly with all the elements. If you were outside it is almost like there was litter time to react. Then as it moved on, what a strange site to see on face of the area still dark grey and rainy, and the sun peeping out on the other side along with a rainbow. The news channels have lots to report.

| It's Friday and the cooling trend is coming back. This is nice. Now with the temperature sitting at 26C for a high, yesterday's stormy was a great contribution to this. So uncomfortable to keep having drip, drip from your head. Anyway, the slight breeze as you walk out is a good indicator of nicer things to come. Did someone say Fall? hummm

| Saturday I had to be at church all day for a seminar and decided I would take a short sleeve jacket. Boy was I right to do that! A crisp breeze was blowing later in the evening and the feeling of 'cool' was in the air. Almost made one want to put on a wind breaker.
Today Sunday, I can only tell from what the channels show, the temperature, a hight of 26C. There was the sunshine for most of the day, and a few clouds - nothing threatening but a very beautiful day to be out.

| Today Tuesday has been a perfect day so far with lots of sunshine and cloud cover. The morning started out on a cool 13C - rather nice in comparison with the cooker of last week. But we have settled into a nice 26C high and heading for an overnight cool again. This weather is so good that later I'll out to dinner.
