I'll probably go with the 7, unless they happen to have a used 5. I don't like buying things off the internet if I don't have to.

I am using a dd-3 currently, and folks are correct about the long, clean delay. I picked mine up for $20 in a pawn shop, so that was worth it for me haha. Not a spectacular delay but it gets the job done.

At a shop. I always do if I can. I like trying things out first.

If I was you I'd test it at a shop and buy it used. I've never had any problems buying used gear. The DD-7 is a good choice.

Corndog87 is selling a DD-20 for pretty close to what you'll pay for a DD-7 new. If I were you I'd jump all over this. I love my DD-20. It's one of the most sought after delays on the market. I've dealt with Stephen (Corndog87) on a couple occasions with no problems.

^definitely didn't see that in time...

Anyway I went to the store and tried out a DD-7 and a Marshall Echohead. I liked them both so I went with the Echohead cause it was $80 cheaper.
