I would read a few books per week, but they were usually books I'd already read a few times. I have a small library at home, and I tend to read and reread my books on a regular basis. I guess you could say I read an average of 2-3 books per week.

now, however, work sucks up about 110% of my time, so I read in small amounts, which is really quite a new thing for me. I am not used to things taking longer than a single day to read. that said...I think last month I read about 5 books. one was a novel, the rest were journals. I just finished a book yesterday, but I don't think it can be considered a novel--it's just over 100 pages long. it's serious stuff, though. one of my students asked if she could borrow it, and I think I need to give it to her with a warning.

I'm out of new books to read, so I need to hit half price books and see what I can find. if I find good stuff, I will read a couple of novels this month. otherwise...I've just been working through non-novel non-fiction materials.
That reminds me too much of myself...............

8 or 9 per year. This has been a slow year for me though. Only 4 thus far.

Not going to lie - studying abroad in Spain is killing my reading time.

However, when I am in the States, I go through one a week minimum. Were it not for college having killed my ability to read whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, maybe I would still be back at my old three-four books/novels a week.

This is incredibly impressive. Do all different kinds of books interest you this much or do you have a favorite kind?

I have been on an asimov kick this year. I have read at least 5 already since the first.

I usually put down 2-5 a month, though.
