There is an original Jag E-type that I see in my area fairly often. Looks to be in great shape, only issue is it's cream colored. Maybe I'm crazy, but IMO any British sports car will look best in British Racing Green.

Yes. Unfortunately, you can't buy even a streetable 3.0 CSL for less than 100k. Rare cars, those.

We do. Unfortunately, finding a decent E9 for any reasonable amount of money is just not something that happens....

Why not make like the Mythbusters and turn an old caddie into a batmobile of sorts?

(They did use Earl for that, right? Or was it another car?)
