Well, at the moment, I don't truly desire to learn it. When I start taking classical guitar lessons I'll consider that to be my fingerpicking training. Until then, I'm doing well enough without and very focusing on rock and metal.


Man who sold the world is coming along well. I'm just working on getting it clean. I'll probably record a cover sometime after I get back home to share.

Eric, right now im working on Listen Close by maylene and it is pretty easy and fun.

And it isnt southern style metalcore either. It is just plain southern rock, with a tinge of metal thrown in for flavor.

If you watch that guys cover of the song, it looks pretty straight forward.

Yeah...that's got some good licks in it and it IS pretty easy and fun. That's always been one of my favorite songs of theirs.

Man, I'll definitely check that out when I get a chance. I wish it was easier for me to get ahold of these songs to listen to. I probably should have started this thread a little earlier than the day before I left.
