Mississippi State's Schedule perhaps? LSU, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech? Not to mention Arkansas and Auburn? Also, we scheduled Houston as our homecoming opponent, and they beat Oklahoma State earlier this year. Whoops.

I know that when schools play their rivals they tend to step up their games, but I thought Texas Tech played really well last night. They had over double the yards in passing, but could never finish the job when they got down the field. I'm so glad USC lost, now if only Florida could let one go.

Goodness I was really not expecting FSU to do....that. Bravo.

And Tennessee really gave Florida trouble. Good defense throughout. My hat is off to the Vols.

Whoa. That is a seriously tough schedule for sure.

Hey Gwen:

Ohio State is 2-1 and Michigan is 3-0.

I know, I know, you don't need to try to explain to me how Ohio State's 2-1 is still stronger than Michigan's 3-0 (as evidenced by the poll you just posted).

But still.

Strength of Schedule. Ohio State lost to USC who then was ranked 3rd, Michigan beat three bad opponents. Therefore, Ohio State is still better.
And the AP has Michigan ranked lower than OSU, so I guess they agree with me. Fancy that. Guess your attempt at flamebaiting failed. Better luck next time.

Would I ever attempt to flamebait you?

I am going to be at the Boise State vs BGSU game tomorrow night. It's sold out and on tv! Can't wait. Gonna be a great night for college football.

I was wondering this same question the moment I saw the score of the Oregon Cal game. Boise state pummels Oregon, Oregon pummels Cal? Hmm..

I was at the Michigan Indiana game today. It was awesome, Michigan should have won that game by two more touchdowns but it was still. I officially have the coolest Michigan football/football period t-shirt ever. I will post pictures later.

Man, VT is beating up on Miami. Oh well.

Ditto. I thought that would be a good game. I guess that makes Bama look better, since they're the only team to beat VT.
..and then South Florida beat FSU. Hmm.

South Carolina beat #4 Ole Miss. I'm not shocked. SC is actually a good football team. Sure, they're not the most consistent, but they'll at least compete with about anybody. Ole Miss hadn't really proven they deserved that high ranking though. I hope SC moves into the top 25.

I just watched Tim Tebow go off the field on a cart. He looked very sick. Yikes. Good thing they have a decent sized lead.

Andrew/JayCarrFan: I was hoping MSU would pull it out today. It's pretty wild that they even had that GREAT shot at the end after all of those turnovers...they were so close to taking down #7.

I hadn't even seen the Oregon v. Cal score until after reading the above comments. Whoa.

I would love it if Iowa could find a way to beat Penn.

Tebow was sick already, and that hit was crushing. Yikes.
