If Ohio State beats Iowa and Michigan, Ohio State will have their 5th Big Ten Championship in a row. Go Buckeyes! |

The Big Ten used to be the elite conference and it didn't matter if they only played each other because the Big Ten consistently turned out great schedules and bowl appearances. However, the SEC has taken over the top spot for conference wins and bowl appearances. I'm looking forward to other Big Ten teams scheduling and playing teams from the SEC, ACC, and Pac 10. Hopefully then the Big 10 will get some respect again. | Yeah, but while OSU does all that, Michigan brings in teams from the FCS. |

I think they should be made to have one. Not having one just makes the current championship system even more stupid.
Last years season will prove my point here:
Penn State was rolling along undefeated...lets say Iowa didn't get in the way. Penn State could've played in the National Championship game.
Alabama goes undefeated in the regular season. They then play Florida in the SEC championship game and lose. If the SEC didn't have a championship game, Bama would've been playing for the national title last year.
Maybe the Big 10 needs to get Boise State or TCU. |

Of course I remember not that many years ago when Nebraska didn't qualify for the Big XII championship game (so didn't get another loss) but somehow backed into the Championship (vs USC IIRC) and lost there. The only reason the conferences go with championships is because it's a huge moneymaker for the conference that they don't have to share with the NCAA. The money to be made from a playoff would be HUGE, but it comes down to the college presidents and NCAA deciding how to share in all that loot. I DO believe that it will come to pass someday. I'm hopeful that TCU goes undefeated and it will add to the impetus to get it done! |

Yeah, I would actually like to see Notre Dame join the Big Ten, like the Big Ten offers every year but ND turns them down.

| Also, Notre Dame is not asked every year to join the Big 10. That is a load of crap. They have been asked a few times in the past, but the Big 10 is looking to bring a team in from the East, not Notre Dame. |

| I think Stanford might be able to beat any team in the nation at this time. They CRUSHED USC and Oregon on consecutive weekends. |

| Holy Crap... that Iowa and Ohio State game was INTENSE. I was shaking in my boots in overtime.
Thankfully Ohio State has won their 5th consecutive Big Ten Title, and is 99.9% sure to be going to the Rosebowl. w00t. |
