Of course... a playoff is needed. But that won't happen any time soon. | Exactly.

| Man I'm so stoked about the University of Houston Cougars. I love to see a small program kicking ass. OK, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but anytime a program like this is in the top 20 I think everyone involved and associated with it should be proud and enjoy the run. |

That was a sweet game.
Iowa...wow. Making 6 turnovers (it least) and still winning 42-24 is (you can't really call it impressive, cause there offense was awful for most of the game) hard to do, I guess you can say.
Michigan..... a yard away from making that game completely different.

I can't even think of anything to say besides laughing.
But that Iowa game was something else. How Iowa managed to come back and pull that off is reminiscent of the 2002 OSU championship team.

| It's football, but anytime it's North Carolina and Duke it could be interesting. I think Duke is making progress in fooball, just not quite there yet. They could pull an upset however.
Locally it's Kansas visiting Kansas State, and for the first time a years the outcome is in doubt. Hopefully Reesing can shake off the slump from the last month, and have a good game. |

The Big Ten is not looking good this year at all. | I can't say its the strongest year for Big Ten football either. Its hard to say how good some teams actually are, especially when (with a few exceptions) most teams in the BIg Ten have a terrible non-conference schedule (Which I can't stand when teams don't play tough non conference teams because they are afraid of losing and hurting their ranking, but I say if you're that good you should just beat them anyways). OSU, Penn State, Iowa, have all been solid this year, and Michigan has been okay; the way Michigan self-destructs each game is incredible. Anyways, we'll see how the rest of this season pans out and how the Big Ten does in their bowl games.

Anyways, we'll see how the rest of this season pans out and how the Big Ten does in their bowl games. | Ohio State plays a tough non conference schedule. They played USC! That is as about as tough as it gets. Plus they've already played Texas and will play Cal, Virginia Tech, Miami (Fl), and Oklahoma in the new few years. I think all big ten teams should follow suit and schedule opponents like that. The Big Ten used to be the elite conference and it didn't matter if they only played each other because the Big Ten consistently turned out great schedules and bowl appearances. However, the SEC has taken over the top spot for conference wins and bowl appearances. I'm looking forward to other Big Ten teams scheduling and playing teams from the SEC, ACC, and Pac 10. Hopefully then the Big 10 will get some respect again.

| That is the big knock I've heard against the Big 10 this year from all over. Their non-conference schedules are so weak... Obviously, OSU is an exception.
Oregon is down 6 with 2:38 left, kicking off. Yikes. |

Florida State's defense is disgusting.
Giving up 19 in the fourth? Really? Gah.
I'm more of a Gator fan but for practical reasons I may end up going to FSU. I'm trying to make myself root for their football program more. Not working. |
