That Florida game was agonizing to watch. Good gosh.

It wasn't like they were completely out of sync...it was just every time they got in the blasted red zone they'd fumble. 3 times in a row I think. Unbelievable. The defense did get a few key stops, but they also got some really lucky breaks. Mallet over threw two passes that would've been easy TD's. I'd say Alabama deserves that Number 1 spot in the AP they just got. I'd say they deserve the BCS number one too as of now. And unless UF really tightens up I'd say the Tide will get revenge for last year, provided they meet in the SEC title game. Which still seems likely.

I like the teams in the 4th,5th,and 6th BCS spots.Good to see those 3 getting some respect for their conferences.

The first BCS is interesting. I was listening to "experts" on ESPN talking about it, and the big discrepancies between the human polls and the computer ratings for Iowa and USC.

Yeah, I do agree. I think undefeated teams should ALWAYS be ranked ahead of 1 loss teams. But that's just me.

While I know we're not the fourth-best ("we" meaning VT), it still was a nice record... If our offensive line actually shaped up and ---GASP!--- protected the QB, we'd be a lot better.

Lets say you have a team that is undefeated, but doesn't even play a top 25 team. Then there is a one loss team that has only lost to the #1 ranked team in the country, yet they've beaten 5 top 10 teams. I'd have no problem with the latter sitting as high as #2.
Obviously, that's a very unlikely scenario, but it does a good job of showing why I think strength of schedule must be considered.
I know you guys might think that isn't fair to teams that just can't schedule ranked opponents for whatever reason, but unless we get a playoff system in place, that's how it'll stay.

VT has nothing to be ashamed of. One loss was to the team that could very well end up being the national champs, and GT is also a good team.

My prediction at this point in the season: Bama vs. FL in the SEC Championship game with the winner taking the national title over ?????? I think if TX wins out, it's easily TX...but they have both OK State and Kansas to contend with still.

Well... I do agree to a point. I think that if a team is one of less than 3 undefeated teams at the end of the year, they should have a shot at the National title. Boise State and Utah already proved what nonsense the current system is.

Of course... a playoff is needed. But that won't happen any time soon.

I thought this was a cool quiz. I didn't do that well, but did get 19 right. Some of them were surprises. Of course I'm not a real fan of BCS rankings anyway.

22/25. Not bad at all. Although I also am not a fan of BCS rankins, I am a fan of college football.

Not really. The only three I missed I barely remember even being in the bcs. They were all teams very near the bottom.
