Indeed. I think he uses one for delay, one for looping and the other two are backups.

On another note, I REALLY want a HOG.

eww, yuck. that's an impressive collection, but not a fan. I've owned enough Boss pedals myself, and I don't own of them anymore, though some of the modded ones are probably really nice. I wouldn't mind picking up a DD-20 either.,..

I don't muck care for Boss... MT-2 was my first pedal and, while at the time it sounded amazing, now it sounds too digital, as do many of there pedals. I do enjoy my DD-7 though.

I can't really stand Boss all that much. I've used a lot of their pedals, my first being a DD-3. I still use a couple considering I can't really afford replacements yet. The only pedal that I honestly think is great is the CS-3. Oh the sustain.. Combine it with a Big Muff and I can get my ideal soloing tone.

They are all tools.

Some tools are better than others, but all are capable of doing a job...my ds-1, for instance, makes a great weapon

Have you ever modded a pedal, Jeff?

You guys realize this isn't a guitarist's board, right?

Not yet, but this DS-1 that I have has some issues. When I bought my DD5 off craigslist (for $60 ) the guy threw in the busted DS-1. I'd love to mod/fix it, but I don't know the first thing about this stuff.

Here's a video of this board in action

That is pretty cool. I wonder how much control he had over the sounds, and how much of it was just random. It sounds like it started out pretty controlled, but then turned a bit wild...

Just looks like a big tray of battery and cable chasing and headache. I can only imagine the tap dancing one would have to do during a set to make any decent use of that board. Personally im more into playing than tap dancing. Nothing wrong with it dont get me wrong you know if gizmos flip your whig go for it....... I suppose the point of such a board is to make the guitar more of a noise generator/synth/loop station. Not my bag of chips personally. With the budget I grew up with as a guitarist I could never support the whole gizmo habit.
