Faith & Family Night at the Salem Keizer Volcanoes game

Any folks gonna be in the area August 17? Come hear us and tell me what a hack I am...

FAITH & FAMILY NIGHT
Monday, August 17, 2009
SALEM-KEIZER VOLCANOES VS EVERETT AQUASOX
VOLCANOES STADIUM
Game Time: 6:35 pm - Group Gates Open: 4:00 pm


Faith and Family Night is Aug. 17 at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer.

The night will begin with a 40-minute concert by the Christian rock band Cry of Stones before the opening pitch. The game against the Everett, Wash., Aquasox will start at 6:35 p.m.

Portland evangelist Andrew Palau, son of renowned evangelist Luis Palau, will speak to people in the barbecue area and throw out the game's first pitch.

Congregations interested in participating in the barbecue may contact Greg Herbst at (503) 390-2225, Ext. 3013.

Tickets are available through Friday at Faith & Family Night - Group Registration.

I wish I could go. Alas... I cannot. Too far to drive and overnight trips are difficult. (I live with my ailing mother, and she pretty much needs 24 hour help.)

We are looking forward to it... Oughtta be a lot of fun... Hoping the heat stays away about like the last few days (not the 108s we had last week...)

Well, I drove by the stadium 2 days late Sounds like it would have been fun, though - I love minor league baseball

y'know, we played, Andrew Palau gave a good message, by the time we packed up and me and my kids got to the game, the sun was going down, and it was comfortable... not too hot, not too cold... had some hamburgers, nachos, everyone had a nice time... God Bless America and Take Me Out to the Ballgame at the 7th inning stretch, home team won... mountains in the background... Then heard the other band play a little Christian R&B & funk... pretty good night...
