The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All I know is that it's made by Terry Gilliam and Tom Waits is playing the devil in it.

I love it already.

It's also the last film Heath Ledger ever acted in. He died while the film was still being shot. Apparently, somehow, Jude Law, Colin Farrell, and Johnny Depp all helped out with finishing the character's scenes. They then gave the paychecks they received for doing the film to Ledger's daughter.

Wow. I bet this will be a big seller seeing as how it was Heath Ledger's last movie....

It doesn't look bad at all.

I can't wait to see it. Seeing how I like both Heath and Johnny Depp.

Finally saw this tonight. It was quite good. As per usual, Terry Gilliam delivered amazingly bizarre and quirky visuals, but it was also a nice little mind-twist of a tale. It wasn't quite what I expected from the trailers and promotional material, which actually made it even better. Explaining that would be too much of a spoiler, but I was quite pleased with how my expectations were played with.

I wasn't sure how they were going to make it work, having four different actors play the same character, but the way they did it worked really well. In fact, it felt like they meant to do it that way all along.
