I don't own a Cobalt but I use Elixers too. I used to have trouble snapping the G string about once a week but this seem to have been remedied.

I gig regularly with my Strat, too, and only remember breaking strings on two occasions this past year.
+1

If all is okay with the guitar though, and you just break them due to playing with heavy picks or playing hard or whatever, you might want to try Martin SP strings. If you break those, you might need to consider calming down the picking hand a bit.

I typically Elixirs on my Cobalt 750TS, but not the nanowebs they ship with. I prefer the poly-webs, a little brighter and less muddy I think, IMHO. I put a set of Dean Markley alchemy bronze strings on there the other day, as I used to use them on another acoustic, and I have not been impressed. Within a week, they just sounded dull and dead.
