Why do Eyes in a picture seem to follow you?

Anybody has an answer for this or any theories? Is like you can't get away from them unless out of site. Scared tactic.

Because you're always looking at a photo from the point of view it was taken. In real life, when you move, things (like eyes) move in perspective, and you can see "around" the scene. In a photo, things are frozen in the perspective of the camera. So the eyes, if they were looking at the camera, will always be looking at you, the viewer, as the photo has only one point of view on the original scene.

No silly. It's because photos steal the soul of the person whose picture was taken. So every picture is haunted. :P

Just remember, photos are two dimensional. Then it all works out.
