Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check it out if I can

I have to say that, while so many people said
Frankenstein was dull and dry, I found it rather entertaining.
Personally, I felt quite sorry for both Victor and the Creature --- Victor because he was too irresponsible and selfish to prevent his ruin, and the Creature because he had no one to teach him right from wrong except books, which weren't exactly comprehensive. However, I feel less and less sorry for each of them as I study them. I find it difficult to feel sorry for the Creature because he commits so many atrocious acts of evil. One could argue that it's not his fault, but I disagree. He even states he knows what he's doing, even feeling remorse afterward... Yet he continues. Yes, he's alone... But does that excuse evil? As for Victor, he's such a pigheaded idiot at times, so absorbed in himself that he neglects people who love him and then the monster he creates. I also find it difficult to feel sorry for him, seeing as he practically brings this disaster upon himself by tampering with that which is hidden for a reason.
But hey... I've had to write a research paper, an essay, and do a test on this book, so maybe I'm overthinking it
