Need help for the "strumming" of a song

hello everybody

I need help for the strumming (or the "strum", I don't know how you say) of this song.
Here is a link where you can hear the guitar with the voice : YouTube - Undo
I hope you can help me because it annoys me when no one answers me.
I found an other link for the original song : YouTube - Rush Of Fools - Undo (Digital Video Version)

I don't understand the strumming, please help me please, can you help me using "down up down...." because i understand better like this. I don't arrive to play with the "feeling" and I tried
several times to play with the song but i haven't succeeded because I am blocked from the second shot (knock, blow, hit, bump....... I don't know what is the word to use to talk about the guitar) down.

Here is all the information i can give. sorry.

Thank you in advance and please don't let me unanswered.

I'm a novice player too, so I can't help you. But it's a nice song.

I keep forgetting to look at this when I'm at home. I'll try to look at it tonight and see if I can help.

The problems is it's really hard to explain these sorts of things online. Can you get a teacher somehow? If you can read rhythmic music, here are a couple pages I wrote to work through strumming with my own students...

But to use this method, it must use a music partition (<= I don't know if it's this word) ???

otherwise, i think i find the strumming but i'm not sure, here's what I find
Down Up Down Up (Down) Up Down Up Down Up Down Up Down Up

You have to play the writing in hold. and I don't know it the "down" between parenthetic must be played.

Sorry for the mistakes, i think there's a lot of mistake but i don't know where ><. Sorry

Are you agree with what I found ??

Here's what I was able to decyfer from the video:

Basic Strumming Pattern:

Down...Down...up down up down up down up down
Down...Down...up down up down up down up down [repeat]

in 4/4 time.

This should at least allow you to start and you'll perfect it as you practice.
