well thats an epa estimate...

my dad could get about combined 25mpg out of the clunker and around 38 combined in the aveo (according to him) but I doubt my bro will get 26-29 combined mpg

Well, the new EPA mileage estimates are more accurate than they used to be. In my experience though, it's kinda a low estimate. My car is supposed to get 19/28, I usually get about 24 around town. Worst I've ever gotten was 21 mpg, and I do not baby the throttle.

Best I've gotten was 32 mpg, all highway driving.
