| I'm engaged! Yeah, as of a little over 3 months ago.
I just didn't really want to make a thread about it until I got the video.
So, I'll let the video do most the talking! Linkage. |

| Same day as the engagement. April 18th. That's easy for me to remember...3 days after the most dreaded day ever.
We're hoping to get on the beach for the wedding. We're going to look at some potential venues next month. I'm pretty stoked! |

| I've been engaged for over a year and you are still going to marry before me... kinda sucks....
LOL...
On the beach? Sounds sweet!

| Yeah, I would love to keep it simple and just go to the beach. I don't want a ton of decorations or anything like that. I guess it's not really what I want, it's more what she wants. She agrees with me, though, so that's good.
When are you getting married? I don't think I could handle more than a year of being engaged. |

| Thanks a bunch guys.
I'm not sure if the music is working. The video got flagged for copyright infringement because Google is probably in bed with the major record companies.
I'll have to post some pictures of the ring. I had it custom made by a local jeweler, and it's very unique. It's a big wave with a really big, dark sapphire in it. |

| The music seemed to work for me, also it fit well with the video, not that, that wasn't obvious. |

| Oh, good. It looks like it is working now.
Yeah, I chose the music because we're both big Etta James fans, as well as Aretha Franklin and a lot of those other older female vocalists that don't resort to hitting every note under the sun before the song is over.
And Delirious? is fantastic. Plain and simple.
Thanks! |

| Congratulations! Engagements are always exciting to hear about (though marriages are probably a bit more fun for the engagees ). |
